Starlight and You is dedicated to education and creative mentorship through our production company and nonprofit partnerships, offering internship opportunities for students and emerging filmmakers who are looking to gain real on-set experience during the production of our feature films in Washington State and beyond.

Our mission is to tell meaningful, family-centered stories while investing in the next generation of filmmakers, actors, and creative professionals by giving them hands-on experience in a real film production environment.

Many students who begin as interns on set gain practical skills in directing, producing, cinematography, production design, and post-production, helping them build strong portfolios and industry connections. These experiences can lead to opportunities working on independent films, television productions, or acceptance into respected film programs and creative institutes across the country.

Below is the internship application available during the upcoming production of Starlight and You for second unit. Please review the departments and roles offered and complete the application form to be considered for second unit crew, which will be reviewed by our internship coordinator.
